3. User Accounts

- Student Accounts: Created and managed by schools or teachers
- Teacher Accounts: For educators to supervise students and approve content
- Administrator Accounts: For school officials to manage their institution's use of the Platform
3.2 Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.
4. Pricing and Access
4.1 Free for Students
Art Official Idol is free for individual student use when accessed through a registered school account. Students will never be charged for using basic Platform features.
4.2 School Licensing
Schools and educational institutions may access Art Official Idol through:
- Free Tier: Limited access for individual classrooms with basic features
- School License: Full access for entire schools with premium features and dedicated support
- District License: Enterprise agreements for school districts with custom terms

4.3 Feature Availability
Some advanced AI features may require a paid school license. We will clearly communicate which features are included in each tier.
5. Content Ownership
5.1 Student-Created Content
Students retain ownership of their original creative content. This includes:
- Original lyrics, poems, and written works
- Original artwork and designs
- Creative concepts and ideas expressed in their projects
5.2 AI-Generated Elements
Content generated by AI tools (such as AI-composed music or AI-generated images) is subject to the following:
- Students may use AI-generated content in their educational projects
- The Platform grants students a license to use AI-generated content for non-commercial, educational purposes
- Commercial use of AI-generated content requires separate licensing
5.3 License to Art Official Idol
By uploading content, you grant Art Official Idol a limited license to:
- Display your content within the Platform
- Enable teacher review and approval workflows
- Store and back up your content
- Share approved content within your school's designated audience (if elected by the student and teacher)
This license is revocable. You may delete your content at any time, and we will remove it from our active systems within 30 days.
5.4 Portfolio Export
Students and schools may export student portfolios at any time. We support standard file formats for all content types.
6. Acceptable Use
6.1 You Agree Not To:
- Create content that is harmful, threatening, abusive, or inappropriate for educational settings
- Attempt to bypass teacher approval workflows
- Use the Platform for commercial purposes without authorization
- Share account credentials with others
- Interfere with the Platform's operation or security
- Use the Platform to infringe on others' intellectual property rights
- Attempt to generate inappropriate content using AI tools
6.2 Educational Purpose
Art Official Idol is intended for educational use. All usage should align with educational objectives and be appropriate for school settings.
7. Teacher Responsibilities
Teachers using Art Official Idol agree to:
- Review and approve student content before publication in a timely manner
- Ensure student use aligns with school policies
- Report any safety concerns or inappropriate content through our reporting system
- Maintain appropriate supervision of student activities
- Protect student privacy and comply with FERPA requirements
8. School Responsibilities
Schools and districts using Art Official Idol agree to:
- Obtain necessary parental consent for students under 13 (per COPPA)
- Ensure teachers are properly trained on Platform use
- Comply with all applicable education privacy laws
- Notify Art Official Idol of any security incidents affecting student data
- Maintain accurate student rosters and remove access for departed students
9. Intellectual Property
9.1 Platform IP
Art Official Idol, its logo, and all Platform features are owned by Art Official Idol. You may not copy, modify, or distribute Platform materials without permission.
9.2 Third-Party Content
Some content on the Platform may be provided by third parties. Such content remains the property of its respective owners.
10. Disclaimers
10.1 AI-Generated Content
AI-generated content is provided "as is." While we implement safety filters, we cannot guarantee all AI output will be appropriate. Teacher review is required before any AI content is published.
10.2 Educational Outcomes
Art Official Idol is a tool to support education but does not guarantee specific learning outcomes.
10.3 Service Availability
We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We will provide reasonable notice of planned maintenance.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Art Official Idol shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Art Official Idol from any claims arising from your violation of these Terms or misuse of the Platform.
13. Termination
- Schools may terminate their account at any time with 30 days notice
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms
- Upon termination, student data will be made available for export for 30 days before deletion
14. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated to schools via email at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
16. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes shall first be attempted to be resolved through good faith negotiation. If resolution cannot be reached, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Delaware, except where prohibited by law for consumer disputes.
